Policy Statement on Non-Discrimination and 多样性

Bridgewater State University is committed to a policy of non-discrimination, 平等的机会, diversity and affirmative action. The university is dedicated to providing educational, working and living environments that value the diverse backgrounds of all people.

The Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity (“EO Director”) oversees the University’s compliance with these policies. The EO Director handles discrimination, discriminatory 骚扰, 和报复 complaints from and about 学生, 申请人, 员工, 教师, 工作人员 and 游客 to campus. The EO Director also oversees the university’s compliance with the state and federal non-discrimination and 平等的机会 laws. 

The EO Director is the university’s Title IX coordinator and is responsible for the university’s compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and the administration of the university’s Title IX 性骚扰 Policy. 除了, the EO Director is charged with the responsibility for the university’s compliance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 修订的, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
